KBS2ŌĆÖs new Mon-Tues drama River Where The Moon Rises has unveiled a new poster on the 4th. River Where The Moon Rises depicts the pure love between Princess Pyeonggang (played by Kim So Hyun) for whom Goguryeo was everything in her life, and General Ondal (Ji Soo). As a fusion of factual historical drama and an imagined romance drama, the show is drawing attention to the retelling of the famous Korean story of Princess Pyeonggang of Goguryeo and General Ondal. In the revealed poster, four leads including Pyeonggang, Ondal, Goh Geon (Lee Ji Hoon), and Hae Mo Yong (Choi Yu Hwa) were seen. Pyeonggang and Ondal, both shedding tears, are catching the eyes. Though the twoŌĆÖs eyes are headed toward different places, their same expression suggests the plot of tragic love. Goh Geon and Hae Mo Yong, who seems to be involved with the main couple, also steal attention as they seem to make the plot more intriguing. These two are characters who each have Pyeonggang and Ondal in their hearts. Their fierce eyes seem to hold a certain sense of sadness, demonstrating their unrequited love and pains. It is yet to be seen how the story of these four characters will unravel along with the original history of Pyeonggang and Ondal. River Where The Moon Rises will kick off at 9.30 p.m. KST on February 15th. ┬Ā Source (1)
