She competed against current TWICE members on JYP EntertainmentŌĆÖs SIXTEEN and won first place on MnetŌĆÖs Produce 101. She debuted as a member of I.O.I until 2017. Afterward, she promoted with other project groups. In 2018, she ultimately left JYP Entertainment and signed with THEBLACKLABEL, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment. Last June, she made her debut as a solo artist with her single ŌĆśBirthdayŌĆÖ and has since been actively appearing on variety shows and modeling for various brands.
