Already released as a drama series earlier this year, Semantic Error: The Movie follows the love story between two polar opposite students ŌĆō Choo Sang Woo (played by Park Jaechan) and Jang Jae Young (Park Seo Ham). The story unfolds as a strict, rule-abiding computer science major gets to work together with a narcissistic visual arts student. The production team says there are script variations between the drama and theater versions, and more scenes have been added to the theater version. The film was officially invited to screen in the ŌĆśBoys, Be, and LoveŌĆÖ category at 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and the tickets were sold out in less than a minute. With the popularity of the original series, the lead actors ŌĆō Park Seo Ham and Park Jaechan ŌĆō both received TIRTIR Popularity Awards at the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards. The filmŌĆÖs poster has Jang Jae Young looking at Choo Sang Woo with a smirky smile, while Choo Sang Woo looks back at him with a disgusted look. In the upcoming film, Choo Sang Woo, who always plays by the book, reveals the names of people who didnŌĆÖt participate in the team project. Due to this, Jang Jae YoungŌĆÖs graduation gets pushed back, and the relationship between the two becomes more complicated than ever.
