On November 16, aespa dropped the music video teaser for their debut song ŌĆ£Black Mamba.ŌĆØ However, netizens started to point out that a few parts of the video are similar to a German artistŌĆÖs work. According to them, the subwayŌĆÖs basic structure (different from what Korean subway looks like), the fact that flowers and butterflies are inside the subway, and the camera walking that follows the butterflies are similar to one of the artistŌĆÖs projects. The scene where ŌĆ£black mambaŌĆØ appears is also quite similar. Another point made by netizens is that the same artist once posted the idea of what happens if you try to install windows on an iPhone, and yet, there is a scene in ŌĆ£Black MambaŌĆØ MV teaser in which ŌĆ£black mambaŌĆØ infiltrates one memberŌĆÖs Galaxy phone via iPhoneŌĆÖs airdrop system. After more started to speculate the plagiarism, the artist himself posted about the matter via his Instagram Story and wrote, ŌĆ£I received many messages.
