On the 20th, media outlets reported that Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin were cast to lead the new romance historical drama Lovers. To which Namkoong MinŌĆÖs agency 935 Entertainment responded, ŌĆ£The actor is currently shooting another movie, so nothing has been confirmed about his next project.ŌĆØ Ahn Eun JinŌĆÖs agency UAA shared, ŌĆ£Lovers is one of the projects she received an offer from.ŌĆØ Set in the Joseon dynasty, Lovers tells the story of a man who had suffered a tragedy meeting a woman and falling in love. If they officially join the show, Namkoong Min will play Lee Jang Hyun, a mysterious man who showed up out of nowhere, and Ahn Eun Jin will step into the role of Yoo Gil Chae, the daughter of a high-ranking official. Lovers comes from The Rebel and The KingŌĆÖs Daughter Su Baek Hyang writer Hwang Jin Young and The Veil director Kim Sung Yong. Meanwhile, Namkoong Min is currently filming SBSŌĆÖs new series One Dollar Lawyer, and Ahn Eun Jin is preparing the new Netflix series Goodbye Earth. Source (1)
