After the movie was invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Deadline called it ŌĆ£an action-filled, character-driven psychological espionage tale,ŌĆØ and The Wrap praised it as ŌĆ£sleek and serious, burnished and brutal.ŌĆØ Since then, Hunt was also invited to several major film festivals, including the 47th TIFF, Fantastic Fest 2022, the 55th Sitges Film Festival, and the 36th FFF. Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung have confirmed their attendance at the TIFF and the Sitges. Hunt was invited to the Gala Presentation section of TIFF, one of the ŌĆ£Big FiveŌĆØ film festivals.
