tvNŌĆÖs new weekend series Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a fictional country called Dae Ho Guk. It follows two protagonists whose fate has been switched due to a soul-changing magic. Lee Jae Wook stars as Jang Wook, a virtuous yet rebellious young master in the Jang family. Jung So Min plays a physically frail young woman named Mu Deok Yi, who gets possessed by assassin Nak SooŌĆÖs soul. In the released photos, Jung So Min unexpectedly makes eye contact with Jang Wook as her blindfold falls off. Startled, the two just stand there awkwardly staring at each other. How they look at each other as if they are confirming each otherŌĆÖs existence creates explosive tension.
