The actress, who received attention for her unique looks and solid acting prowess in Hong Sang SoonŌĆÖs 2013 movie NobodyŌĆÖs Daughter Haewon, had swept the Best New Actress awards that year, including the Korean Association of Film Critics Awards and Buil Film Awards. Since then, Jung Eun Chae has solidified her career, starring in The Guest, The King: Eternal Monarch, and more. Most recently, she gained world recognition through the Apple TV series Pachinko. And this time, sheŌĆÖs returning with Anna, of which Suzy is playing the title role. Anna tells the story of a woman who starts off by telling a small lie and ends up living someone elseŌĆÖs life. In the drama, Jung Eun Chae plays gallerist Hyun Joo, the former boss of Yumi (Suzy) who shows no consideration and malice towards others and just simply enjoys her superior life. She was born into a wealthy family and studied abroad. After returning home, she runs her fatherŌĆÖs art gallery alongside him. When Yumi reappears as a completely different person, Anna, Hyun Joo keeps her in check, heightening the tension. ŌĆ£When I read the scripts, I found the story intriguing,ŌĆØ the actress commented.
