On Dec 9, Ju Ji Hoon appeared on Yoo Quiz on the Block and shared stories from his debut drama Goong. First, he confessed that he auditioned for Goong director Hwang In Roi by chance because his manager had a close relationship with the director. He walked into the room thinking that it would be a simple meeting but was asked to act out a scene on the spot. Ju added that all he could think of was Jung Woo SungŌĆÖs lines in the film Phantom, The Submarine. ŌĆ£I performed the scene, and I cried. Not because I was overwhelmed with feelings but because I had no idea when I was supposed to close my eyes,ŌĆØ he said, giving a big laugh. And the moment he was cast to play the male lead was the start of his nightmare. Ju Ji Hoon recalled his dark days, saying, ŌĆ£I literally got chewed up for 8 months. And I just didnŌĆÖt have a clue of what was happening, and I hated going on the set. From the moment I put on makeup in the morning, IŌĆÖm dead.
