Hook Entertainment revealed that they now have paid all┬ĀLee Seung Gi┬Āis owed for his unpaid music profits. On December 16th, the agency issued an official statement. ŌĆ£We deliver our sincerest apologies to Lee Seung Gi, who must be going through the toughest times right now.ŌĆØ ŌĆ£The payment that┬ĀLee Seung Gi requested was too different from the amount he was owed, so we could not reach a mutual agreement. Therefore, aside from the base payment of $992,000, we paid Lee Seung Gi his unpaid earnings of $2.2 million as well as $916,380 of delayed interest in the hope of bringing this dispute to an end.ŌĆØ They added, ŌĆ£Confirming that the agency no longer owes Lee Seung Gi unpaid fees in any form, Hook Entertainment has filed a legal request for the court to verify the agencyŌĆÖs current status as not subject to any liabilities.ŌĆØ Source (1)
