According to Finecut, Jinyoung was cast to take the lead in Christmas Carol, which will begin filming early next year. The film will be an action thriller about a twin who voluntarily enters a juvenile detention center to avenge the death of his brother. Based on the Korean novel of the same name, it will paint out the realistic action and psychological thriller in a juvenile detention center where there is no escape. For the movie, Jinyoung will play a dual role, Joo Il Woo and Joo Wol Woo. The actor shared, ŌĆ£I am both excited and feeling pressured before filming.
