On September 7th, FANATICS members Via, Doi, Chaelin, and Rayeon were holding a live broadcast while wearing skirts. Only two of the members had leg coveringsŌĆŌĆØ usually, girl group members are provided with blankets or jackets to cover their legs. When a female staff member handed one of them a jacket, a male manager is heard harassing her in the background. He chastised the female staff member: ŌĆ£What are you doing covering [the legs]? IŌĆÖm trying to show them. Why are you covering it? Are you stupid?ŌĆØ Following this, the member returned the jacket and proceeded with the broadcast without leg coverings. They did their best to cross their legs or cover their legs with their hands. Fans have been speculating that the female staff member was actually fellow FANATICS member Sika, based on screenshots and past photos. This has not yet been confirmed. FENT Entertainment released an official statement regarding the matter: ŌĆ£This is FANATICSŌĆÖs agency FENT Entertainment. We would like to apologize to the members and fans who were hurt by the harmful remarks made by a staff member during a September 7th Naver V Live broadcast. We take this matter very seriously. We acknowledge that the words of the staff member during the broadcast were wrong in any circumstances, and we will take action against the staff who was responsible for this. FENT will make sure similar incidents do not happen in the future. We apologize to the fans who love FANATICS once more, and we will do our best to protect our artists. Thank you.ŌĆØ Source (1)
