BTS commemorative stamps will be issued. This is the first time in Korea that stamps with the faces of currently-promoting singers are getting printed. On the 14th, Korea Post announced, ŌĆ£A total of 23 types of commemorative stamps will be issued in 2023. BTS has been selected as the new face.ŌĆØ BTS stamps are getting printed alongside ŌĆ£Beautiful Korean Language,ŌĆØ ŌĆ£100th Anniversary of Dr. Kim Sang OkŌĆÖs Patriotic Martyr,ŌĆØ and the Korean character Pororo. Commemorative stamps have been issued yearly to commemorate historically important figures, events, and significant events, promote national projects, and foster national sentiment. It is the second time that a popular singer has been chosen as the face. The first singer was Baek Seol Hee, who passed away in 2010, in 2019. Korea Post highly praised BTSŌĆÖ records and footsteps. The boy band delivered a message of support to the world through music, even in the midst of a pandemic. BTS stamps are made based on the theme of ŌĆ£record of youth.ŌĆØ The stamps will be produced in the first half of next year, and the exact issue date is June 13th, the day BTS debuted. Source (1)
