BLACKPINK scored Best Metaverse Performance for their PUBG Mobile in-game concert ŌĆ£The VirtualŌĆØ, and their member Lisa has now won the award for Best K-Pop.
ŌĆö MTV (@MTV) November 13, 2022 Lisa became the final winner of the K-pop category after competing with BLACKPINK, BTS, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, and ITZY. BTS was nominated in four different categories and took home the Biggest Fans award, which marks their 5th consecutive win of the particular award. Some groups enjoyed their first win at the awards night. SEVENTEEN scored the Best New Act as well as Best Push, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER took home this yearŌĆÖs award for Best Asia Act. Taylor Swift was the biggest winner of this yearŌĆÖs MTV European Music Awards, cleaning up at SundayŌĆÖs ceremony with four EMAs, including Best Video, Best Artist, Best Pop and Best Longform Video.
