On the 1st, YouTube introduced a new feature called ŌĆ£Handle.ŌĆØ A handle is a unique channel identifier that begins with @, such as @youtube, and helps viewers and creators to find and connect with each other on YouTube. The handle also appears on the YouTube channel page and in the short video, and YouTube viewers can also mention the creatorŌĆÖs handle ID in comment sections. The problem is that a Chinese YouTuber stole the handle ID of BTS, taking advantage of the fact that Korean artists have yet changed their IDs. This particular YouTuber has about 3,000 subscribers, and by using the ŌĆ£@BTS_officialŌĆØ handle, she induced ARMY to watch her videos. Currently, BTSŌĆśs YouTube channel uses the ID ŌĆ£BANGTANTVŌĆØ but its twitter account is ŌĆ£BTS_official.ŌĆØ Source (1)
